This is an AWESOME vintage opera coat! It is a super plush velvet with a very interesting cap sleeve that blouses out right at the shoulder and tapers to the wrist. The date is approximate on this may be older or newer, but not newer than 70s. It has a wide collar that is pleated on both sides near the front. There is a single front velvet button closure with inside loop and tie for a perfect fit, and a neck velvet button closure. The velvet is in GREAT condition. There is a split at the seam on both shoulders. It is fully lined, and I felt a tear in the lining in one sleeve when trying it on. This is a great piece, with minor fix needed at shoulder seam. Hard to find size XS, petite.
